Business of Film Course

For my AS media it has been suggested that we do extra work to expand our knowledge on the business of film. In this particular component of AS media we study the production process, distribution process and the big six. This is all covered lightly in the course. This background information will be invaluable when it comes to context and knowledge for the business of film. The business of film course is central for furthering our understanding for how business comes in to the production and distribution of a film but also the financing of a film. I have learnt how important the money within a film is but also how quickly it can be used. I have also learnt that market research is very important when releasing a film but also when creating it.
